3. Must have a general average of at least 85%.
Agreed
4. Must belong to the graduating class of the current school year only for the slot of the GFF offered for the current batch . ( Previous year's graduates are disallowed) .
Agreed
6. GFF scholarship shall be offered only to college courses with maximum of 5 years of study.
Agreed
7. Benefits of a regular GFF scholar shall be as follows:
For Lucena colleges/universities :Maximum of P 20,000 per semester covering the Full tuition and miscellaneous Fees , book/uniform
allowance of P 1,000 per semester and monthly stipend of P 1,000.00.
No. 7 should not be included as amount varies. Basis of computation is dependent on prevailing rate of tuition and miscellaneous fees. As for the books and transpo allowance, the Lucena team normally recommends to the GFF Officers the amount to be granted so there is also no need to set the ceiling on the amount as we lose the flexibility.
For SLSU and other state/city colleges/universities: Maximum of P15,000.00 per semester covering the full tuition and miscellaneous
fees, monthly stipend of P 1,200.00 boarding house of P 550.00 per month .
Decision: To follow
Note: Subject to adjustment based on inflation rate or actual increase in tuition fee by the school.
8. INCENTIVES to academic scholars on full or partial school scholarships per semester. Fixed amount of REFUND to the scholar be distributed as follows: fixed refund of Phil.P 1,500.00 for full scholars and Phil.P1,000 for partial scholar to be uniform; the balance saved every semester to be put in a separate fund for review after college and after any other school expenses not covered by the Scholarship benefits will be given to the scholar after graduation.
Disagreed (no incentives to be given)
Note: though this is not in our existing policy, we have encouraged them to do good academically and in return they will be awarded by giving them the tuition fee discount for their scholastic achievements.
